Well, I finally got a picture of what I have done. We will see if I can figure out how to post it. 1 1/2 panels done. Only 7 1/2 to go. AHHHHH! (Having trouble. Stay tuned later for pictures, I hope.)
Pictures are finally here. Whoohooo!!
A Knit-Along for people working on the Prairie Style Wrap. Started in Twist Yarn Shop in Wichita, Kansas - it is open to anyone wishing to join. The pattern is available at www.nansknitting.com. Send email from the contact page at the website and you can join this Knit Along - we would love to have you participate!

Clipboards, notebooks, sheet protectors, sticky notes, rulers, pencils - all tools of the project. It's great to see the ingenuity by the KAL gals!
The April KAL was missing a few people. Nevertheless Kristi and I had a great time. She and Robin are near the top of the first panel and had some questions about carrying the yarn across the stitches where the yellow and white connect. After looking at Nancy's finished wrap, it was found that carrying the yarn was for only 3 - 5 stitches and it could be easily done!
We also will be putting all stitches on stitch holders as we complete each panel, leaving a long, long tail of yarn. This is so we can do a 3-needle bind off - it will strengthen the shoulder seams and help prevent stretching.
More pics from March - Robin and Kristi - Knittin' on the Prairie! Keep going, panels will soon be done! We'll all look great. Kristi says she thinks this is a fun project, it is exciting to see the pattern develop. Just wait til we add the duplicate stitch to create the stained glass effect!
Here is Robin who is starting over on one panel of the Prairie Style Wrap! Robin, keep it up and post pictures to the blog soon!
